Tik Transcript Generator Privacy Policy

Official privacy policy and compliance disclosures for the "Tik Transcript Generator" mobile application.

Thank you for using the Tik Transcript Generator mobile application (“Application”), developed by Appz. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Application.

1. Information Collection and Use

Personal Information

We do not collect, store, or share any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, phone number, physical address, or account login details. All transcripts and media processing are computed either on-device or processed anonymously.

Non-Personal Information

To help us debug, maintain, and optimize the Application, we may collect non-personal, aggregated usage and performance metrics:

  • Device Characteristics: Device model, hardware type, operating system version, and interface language.
  • App Performance Logs: Crash reports, loading duration, memory usage logs, and performance statistics.
  • App Usage Statistics: Anonymized metrics detailing which features are used.

2. Permissions Declared & Data Access

The Application requests the following system permissions to carry out its core features. These permissions are used exclusively to process your requests on-device and are not used to collect user data:

  • Internet/Network Access: Required to connect to translation or transcription services and to fetch and display ads.
  • Access Network State: Used to check if the device is connected to the internet before sending requests.

We partner with third-party networks for advertising and service delivery. These services may access your mobile advertising identifier (such as the Google Advertising ID) to deliver relevant ad content:

Because the Application operates without user registration or database accounts:

  • We do not host your personal files, transcripts, or data logs on our servers.
  • All generated transcriptions, preferences, and cached session data are saved locally on your device. You can wipe this data instantly by clearing the Application cache or by uninstalling the Application from your device.
  • Any support inquiries sent to dev@appz.se are kept confidential. You can email us at any time to request the permanent deletion of your email contact history.

5. Children’s Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

The Application is not designed for or targeted to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have inadvertently received personal data from a child under 13, we will purge it from our systems immediately. We apply industry-standard safeguards to secure anonymous usage statistics. However, please note that no digital storage or internet transmission can be guaranteed 100% secure.
